Creating a 24/7 Destination: New Residential Buildings Approved

October 26, 2021

rendering of 2000 & 2001 South Bell Street

We are excited to kick off construction on our newest residential buildings in National Landing as early as the beginning of 2022. The approved plan calls for 785 units across two buildings – 2000 and 2001 South Bell Street – with more than 29,000 square feet of ground-floor retail. The apartment buildings will include pools, fitness centers, community rooms, dog grooming and 24-hour concierge service. Both buildings will offer rooftop amenity space with panoramic views of National Landing and Washington DC monuments.

The proposed buildings are located within the heart of National Landing, just one block from vibrant, dining and retail along Crystal Drive, and an upcoming multi-modal transit hub and pedestrian bridge to Reagan National Airport. Learn more about the project, helmed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates and STUDIOS Architecture, here.

Construction has already begun on two residential towers at 1900 Crystal Drive. The new development will have 808 multifamily rental units and about 40,000 square feet of street-level retail across the two towers, each targeting LEED Silver certification.
